Got this last month and was so excited!. You see a lot of things TV but lately there has been an improvement in innovative products! I am 5'10" 190 and work out regularly. Yet this makes me sore every single time I use it. In fact, if I use it on a day I've done bench or significant upper-body stuff my arms will hurt for 15-20 minutes. This really works. The quality of the product is so-so but its intended effect is there and you cannot get this workout anywhere else. Buy it! You may have to replace it in a year or so due to its plastic construction but its worth it.
I just received this product a couple days ago. I was able to buy it on ebay for $30. I wanted something I could use in my dorm room but also something that could work out the entire body. This product is a great workout. You definitely feel achy the day after from working your muscles. This product comes with an exercises chart that lays out a 6 week plan. there are 5 exercises for the first week (working out the chest, biceps, back and legs) and during the 2nd week you add 2 a day until you reach 36 exercises. After 5 weeks there are about 20 or 30 more advanced exercises. The only thing I wasn't sure about was how many reps you are supposed to do. The first couple days I did 10-20 reps each because there are only 5 exercises for the first week. The product is pretty smooth and easy to use. The only problem I had with this product is that a couple of the exercises are very hard to do because the bands are not very long. In the commercial there is a curling type exercise but I am 6'3" and I can't see anyone being able to do this unless you are extremely small. but besides that It seems like a great piece of equipment and very durable. I would definitely recommend this product.
This was a Christmas gift for my husband who had had a version of this several years ago, but had lost it during a move. He is OVERJOYED to have this. He says it's a little tight, and one would need to be in pretty good shape to use it. It might be a tad difficult for a beginner.
so i felt a lil skeptical when i looked @ this piece of equipment on TV. but since the iso7x DELUXE was $20 cheaper, i was tempted to buy one. let me tell ya, this thing getz u tired! i do 5 sets of each exercise now. for sum exercises, i do 7 reps of isotonic movement and on the 8th rep, i hold it for 7 seconds. itz so hard to do so i really push it past the limit! wen i look in the mirror, i c all my freakin muscles and veins popping out lyke im the hulk or something! i look ripped! my background: im 5'5" and about 132 pounds w/6-7% body fat. im basically ripped, not bulky (THANK GOD)! anywho, i do a combo of resistance bands (Terrell Ownes Bodylastics) + perfect pushup (power 10 workout) one day, and a combo of perfect pushup + iso7x DELUXE 2 dayz after. in the dayz between, i try 2 mix in sum cardio (lyke running, swimming, + boxing). my goal was jus 2 get super ripped n run a 4:50 mile. as of rite now, im reaching my goals. i got a 4:55 mile 3 weeks ago n my muscles got helluva lot toner/tighter!!! but obviously i cudnt of done it w/out the help of my JACK3D pwo supplement, ON Hydro Whey protein, n ON Casein protein! i am seeing results every week, lil by lil! i also eat semi-healthy. i eat my greens, my fruits, n my grill chicken. if my dorm doesnt hve chicken, then i eat a nice turkey, ham, n roast beef sandwich and also sum noodles w/alfredo! yum! since giving up pop 3 years ago, i hvnt got sick @ all!!! so if u guyz want 2 get optimum results, try different workouts! like the p90x, use the theory of muscle confusion! n dunt 4get 2 do ure cardio! most importantly, u better give 110% in the gym n dunt b a lil sissy! pain shud b ure best friend! and of course, b CONSISTENT!!! im a student @ U OF I (urbana-champaign) n of course itz very hard 2 study + workout. but 4 me, even if i hve an exam the next day, i still workout the day before. bcuz i get more energy during the day n my mind is alwayz more focused! but yeaaa, 2 conclude, wen u workout w/the iso7x, u will c ure muscles pop n youll also get super tired! also, wat i observed is that wen u workout w/this bar, your heart rate will go up super fast (as if u were sprinting)! which meanz youll sweat + burn lyke crazzzyy! so im prolly burning a crap load of calories while getting ripped w/the iso7x!!! :D ps- this bar has a lot of resistance so if ure a noob, dunt try this. start w/machines first. i tend 2 think that the shoulder workouts r the hardest w/this bar (as appose 2 working out the arms, back, legs, abs, etc.). BUY THE DELUXE VERSION! itz only $10 more! this equipment is made out of high quality stainless steel! n the straps r very tight n it feelz durable (so far). so it shud last a long time!!! JT
They are advertising this thing like it was new - it isn't. My stepfather had one of these in his closet in the early 1980's. It had a different name, and the size cables were metal instead of webbing, but it was otherwise identical. It works well enough, mostly does what it says it does. It's similar to pushups, which are free.
