Perfect for skates, ski boots, or shoes, the Heatmax Toasti Toes Foot Warmers are air-activated toe warmers with full adhesive on one side that sticks to your socks and helps them to stay firmly in place. Toasti Toes provide up to five hours of 100-degree-Fahrenheit warmth and are designed for the active sportsman who will be walking or moving continuously while outdoors in the cold. All Heatmax warmers are made of natural materials, including iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal, and wood fiber. When exposed to air, these materials react together to produce heat through an extremely fast oxidation (or rusting) process. Users should allow 10 to 20 minutes for the warmers to reach their optimal temperatures.

These truly work! They are great. They keep my entire foot warm, even the top of my ankles! I highly recommend them.

This product does exactly what is supposed to do. It keeps your toes from feeling cold. Instead, they just feel comfortable. If you're out in the cold, these are just the ticket.

Pros: Aluminum Pack (Not in PVC pack) Exceeds your expectations easily. Cons: Nothing Note: This warmer thingy is very common in Japan, where it is called " KAIRO". I used to ask my friends in Japan to mail them to New York. Now I don't have to. This thingy works better than the ones I got used to. It really lasts 18 hours!! I wonder if I can go through the airport wearing this. Japanese airports are accustomed to kairo, but how about the US airports?

Occasionally, a product proves to be so effective it exceeds all expectations. Toasti Toes and Hot Hands both fit into this exceptional category. We bought a box of each to try. Since then, we've purchased several more cartons. We love them and our friends love them because they really work.

I am so glad to see these toe warmers available on Amazon. Several years ago I bought one just out of curousity at the near by Skii resort. Was I pleased to use them! Prior to that I had tried Battery Powered Heated Socks which kept the feet warm but D sized battery was heavy to carry on each leg and they used to last may be about 8-9 hours of use. At that time the ski resort used to sell them (a different brand) as single toe warmers and each one used to cost more than two bucks. Three or four years ago I found Little Hotties Adhesive Toe Warmers 30 Pairs at Costco and have used them every winter until this year when I found HeatMax Toasti Toes Foot Warmer (40 Pairs). Toasti Toes definitely stay warm longer. When I take off shoes after coming back from work, these Toasti Toe warmers are still warm, unlike Little Hotties, which used to lose their warmth in 5 hours. Sometimes I use another pair of socks on top and keep using them even inside after at home. At 82.7 cents a piece these are even less expensive than Little Hotties Adhesive Toe Warmers 30 Pairs which come to 84.63 cents a piece as of February 12, 2010. The third brand of toe warmers, Grabber Toe Warmer, 8 Pairs comes in a pack of 8 and is the most expensive at dollar 1.25 a piece. What is even more curious is that Little Hotties Adhesive Toe Warmer 40 pairs bulk pack is more expensive at 1.50 a pair than the Little Hotties Adhesive Toe Warmers 30 Pairs! Heatmax also makes special socks where you can insert these toe warmers HeatMax Heated Socks. Personally I have not tried them but I am not sure what advantage they have over using these toe warmers with your regular socks. My only gripe against HeatMax Toasti Toes Foot Warmer (40 Pairs) is that the individual packets are so hard to open and you need a pair of scissors. In frigid Norther winters everyone could use these toe warmers, but especially people working outdoors, involved in winter sports, and those with circulation problems like Raynaud's or peripheral vascular disease. HeatMax Toasti Toes Foot Warmer (40 Pairs) stays warm longer and as of February 12, 2010 is the least expensive of all the toe warmers available out there.
